- The nursery can admit 104 children
- Children who are three years old will be admitted in September and other children can be admitted throughout the year, in the term they turn three, as long as there are places available.
- We have a small class for 2 year olds. Please ask at the school office if you are interested in applying for a place.
- All children are entitled to 15 hours per week (9.00am-12.45 Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday)
Some of our children attract extra funding which the nursery receives in the form of an Early Years Deprivation Allocation and/orEarly Years Pupil Premium (EYPP). We use these funds to offer qualifying children 9 extra hours in nursery. Extra hours are offered to these children when they are 3 years old, happy and settled and are out of nappies. We will ask you for information eg post code, national insurance number, so that we can check whether the nursery receives any extra funding for your child.
Children who do not attract deprivation funding or Early Years Pupil Premium can pay for extra hours.
Extra hours are:-
12.45pm – 3pm Monday, Tuesday
12.45pm – 2pm Wednesday
12.45pm – 3pm Thursday
You can apply for a place in our nursery using the form below or you can pick up an application form from our office.
Our 2 year old class is only for children who qualify for Government funding. Please contact the school if you would like us to check if your child is eligible.
Should the nursery be oversubscribed, we hold a waiting list. Children would then be admitted according to their age, with older children being admitted first.
If you need help filling in an application form, please ask at the school office.
We believe it is very important for children to settle in gradually so that they can form a close relationship with their key worker. Your child's key worker will work with you to ensure a happy transition from home.
