Parental/ Community Involvement

" The school has a very strong relationship with parents and the local community" OFSTED 2013

Great importance is given to the relationships made with parents and carers. We forge those links from the very beginning.

  • An Open Day held at the nursery introduces parents/carers and children to the activities on offer.
  • Your child's key worker will make a home visit before your child starts nursery so that we can get to know you and your child and so that you can get to know us.
  • On your child’s first day their Key Worker will talk through the Home/School Agreement with you.
  • We welcome parents into the nursery at the beginning and end of the day. We will always find time to listen to you and make time to address any concerns.
  • We are proud of our inclusive nursery and and try really hard to accommodate the individual child’s needs.  This is fully explained in the schools Equal Opportunity Policy, copies available on request.
